Imagine we’re making cookies together! A long time ago, we used a special machine to make little frozen “pucks” of cookie dough. It was like squeezing out tiny pieces of play dough one by one. But here’s the thing: when we baked those pucks, the cookies sometimes turned out a bit flat, and the texture wasn’t as soft and fluffy as we wanted. Plus, the chocolate chunks were smaller and spread out unevenly, so every bite wasn’t as exciting.
Now, we do things differently! We use bulk dough instead, which means we scoop and shape the dough by hand or in a gentler way. This makes the cookies much fluffier and softer, like little clouds of yumminess. The chocolate chunks are also bigger and spread perfectly through each cookie, so you get gooey chocolate in every bite. It’s like making cookies at home with extra love and care!
Currently, we offer our dough in 13kg blocks as the default, which is perfect for baking lots of cookies. But if you want something smaller, we can absolutely make 3kg boxes per flavour—just let us know what works best for you!
This new dough comes refrigerated, staying fresh for up to 3 months in the fridge or 18 months in the freezer. We recommend letting the dough thaw on the counter for about 15 minutes before use—it makes it much easier to shape into balls. For the perfect cookie, we suggest making 30g balls. It’s super quick, and you’ll get a delicious, gooey cookie every time!
*We are presently changing over from the individually cut pieces of frozen cookie dough to large chunks of dough in a bulk format. We truly believe that this makes a difference to improve the quality both visually and taste-wise. To bake, place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet in a 350F oven and bake for 7 to 10 minutes.
